What is the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment?

Over 15 years of research, development and field testing has produced this revolutionary product that renews and protects surfaces at the same time. The All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment is a ready-to-apply 100% solids polymer that cures by sunlight. It contains no wax, no water, no alcohol, no solvents (no VOC’s) and is non-flammable, non-polluting, non-toxic and environmentally-friendly… WOW!

How does the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment work?

Automotive paint, for example, is applied in layers (coats). First, the primer coat is applied, then the color coat is applied. Finally, a relatively thick clear coat is applied. The clear coat will protect the color, giving the surface a great overall appearance. When the surface is scratched, the clear coat produces a white looking powder as the scratch gouges microscopic groves into the clear coat. The All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment removes the white residue and partially fills the microscopic grooves, the scratches seem to disappear as you easily wipe the product on the surface. The true benefit of the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment is that it not only cures and hardens from sunlight, which turns into a protective non-yellowing layer of clear polymers, but it also provides advanced fluoropolymer “non-stick technology”, which allows for an incredible
easy-clean surface. The product’s proprietary blend of ingredients is perfect for faded bumpers, trim, most weather-faded plastics and fiberglass of any color. It will not wash away or discolor like other solvent or water based products. The All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment is available in 2 oz plastic containers, which will treat up to two medium sized automobiles (180 SF), it is also available in cases of 24.

Application Instructions:

Wash and dry the surface (or repair) area thoroughly. Remove marring and other foreign matter. Shake well and apply a small amount of the product into a clean cotton cloth or non-abrasive paper towel (do not use shop rags or sponge) and recap the container to prevent the product from hardening due to sunlight exposure.

NOTE: Never pour the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment directly onto the surface, keep the container covered and apply the product in an area that is shaded from the sun. Apply the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment in a circular motion to work the product into damaged surface areas, then wipe the product off, as if you are trying to remove it from the surface. The All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment automatically forms a thin film. Continuously turn the cloth to remove excess product until shine returns. Place the vehicle/surface in the sun and allow the product to cure, cure time is approximately 4 to 48 hours depending on sunlight exposure and ambient temperatures. Try to shield vehicle/surface area from rain, water and dust/dirt until product has had a chance to cure in direct sun for at least 4-8 hours (until tack free). If desired, the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment can be waxed, sanded or painted after it is tack free.

NOTE: Deep scratches/scuffs may accumulate dirt with time. Dirt can be simply washed away. If desired, repeated applications may gradually fill scratch/scuff damage. Allow the All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment to cure to a slight tack before applying an additional coat of product.

NOTE: The All-Shield® Scratch & Fade Treatment cannot repair damage that removes color exposing primer or metal. Do not apply the product onto tires.

NOTE: It is recommended that you wear protective attire when applying any type of chemical.
